About me:

My name is Rosie and I am a long legged and long snout type dog who loves to hike and run.  I am very friendly with humans including kids.  I sometimes don’t like smaller dogs but for the most part keep it under control so long as they back off when told.  Bigger dogs are fun!.  I enjoy hiking, swimming, running, camping and eating.  I still need some work eating around other dogs – but while I have been here at Pets Return Home I have only once growled at another dog for messing with my food in the past three weeks.  Pets Return Home trainers and dogs don’t let me get away with that here though – so I am learning it is more fun to share.

Behavioral notes:
Rosie came to us for some manners training with respect to food and dog aggressiveness. Her assertiveness comes into play with toys and food. She has been a good dog for more than three weeks now learning that eating and laying with toys WITH other dogs is not so scary.  We believe this behavior will diminish further in a stable, loving and attentive home.  She is a great dog in that she can be highly active and very mellow when needed.  She enjoys a crate as well as laying around outside. This dog is a good family dog.
