Pets Return Home
No-Kill Dog Sanctuary, Rehabilitation, and Adoption Center

For more than 13 years, Pets Return Home has served as a lifeline for dogs facing dire circumstances—those who are lost, abandoned, behavior-challenged, and sadly considered "unadoptable." Thanks to the kindness of compassionate people like you, over 1,200 dogs now enjoy the love of caring families.

WHAT WE DO

  • We rescue the dogs with nowhere else to go — the fearful, the neglected, the abandoned, the “unadoptable.”

  • We heal trauma through structured pack living, enrichment, training, and compassionate rehabilitation.

  • We provide lifelong sanctuary for dogs who cannot safely live anywhere else.

  • We prepare adoptable dogs for families with real-world experience, confidence-building, and training.

  • We support our community with behavioral help, resources, and crisis intervention to prevent surrenders.

OUR IMPACT

Dogs

  • Dogs rediscover safety, trust, and joy — often for the first time in their lives.

  • Fearful and shut-down dogs learn confidence through pack structure and daily routine.

  • High-behavior dogs get the specialized help standard shelters cannot provide.

  • Every dog receives love, training, medical care, and a chance at a real life.

Community

  • We reduce shelter euthanasia rates by taking the dogs that others cannot.

  • We help families keep their beloved dogs through behavior support and resources.

  • We strengthen regional shelters by relieving pressure and offering expertise.

Adopters

  • Families receive dogs who are better prepared for home life, reducing returns.

  • We provide post-adoption support to help dogs stay in their homes for life.

People Surrendering Dogs

  • They receive compassion, guidance, and behavior help — not judgment.

  • In many cases, we prevent painful surrenders by helping dogs succeed at home.
